The communication of information about the brain and mental health to the public lies at the heart of what the BNA tries to achieve. BNA2015: Festival of Neuroscience has teamed up with the Edinburgh International Science Festival (EISF). The EISF is an annual event that electrifies the City Centre, showcasing science in wonderful and imaginative ways for people of all ages and delivered by scientists. In 2015, the brain will be the major theme for EISF where neuroscientists will share their passion for the wonders of the brain.

EISFThe Edinburgh International Science Festival (EISF) programme includes a series of ‘Brainwave‘ events.  Two of these events are the BNA Keynote lectures given by Professor David Nutt and Professor Adrian OwenBNA 2015 delegates can register to attend these two public lectures for FREE and will also receive discounts on all other Brainwave events, BUT ADVANCE BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.

PLEASE NOTE: access to the BNA Keynote Lectures is by ticket only and tickets must be booked at least 48 hours before each event. The tickets are electronic and you are requested to bring a print-out of your email confirmation with you on the day. All BNA2015 delegates are requested to have their delegate badge available as proof of registered BNA2015 delegate status.

Edinburgh International Science Festival is an annual festival that takes place over Easter each year. This event electrifies the city, showcasing science in entertaining and imaginative ways and attracting audiences of all ages. The 2015 Festival runs from 4-19 April and will include a programming focus on brain, mind and consciousness, running in conjunction with the BNA2015: Festival of Neuroscience.
